How Do Provide Watch Repairs Services in London and how we work?

We start by providing you with an estimate for watch repairs, you can receive this by visiting us in our Central London Shop, by filling up the GET AN ESTIMATE form or simply by speaking to us directly on the phone.

(If you would like to bring your watch to the shop please call or email us to receive a reference number first)

When you are ready to proceed we will arrange post or collection of your watch (unless you brought it over to the shop).  Once we have received it we will inspect your watch and confirm with you to go ahead with the service. The only possibility where we may have to re-quote is when a part is broken inside of the watch.

You will shortly after receive another email/call from us notifying you that your watch is ready for collection or delivered back. From start to finish you can expect your watch repaired back within 1-7 days depending on the service required.

We undertake watch repairs in our London workshop from the vast majority of brands and models to include: Automatic Watches, Manual Wind, Quartz and all Chronograph. We also offer a wide selection of watch strap replacement and high quality battery replacement.

Our watch repairs services include:

* Full movement service for mechanical watches *

• Electronic time adjustments

• Bezels and diamond dials

* Mechanical watches (automatic or manually wound ones) require servicing typically once in 2-5 years depending on the make and model. This is to ensure that the watch is keeping time and to prevent wear and tear of the movement parts.

We disassemble the movement to the individual parts, we then check the parts for wear, clean and lubricate them. Once the movement has been put back together we test the watch’s time keeping accuracy whilst making necessary adjustments.

Every manufacturer produces unique movements that require different servicing, for example Omega watch service will be different from a rolex watch service in the types of oils used, servicing procedures and adjustments.

(We are happy to provide an estimate for a full watch repair service / Overhaul, or a single service/part replacement such as: Glass repair, dial restoration or winding stem.

We hold stock of a wide variety of parts for many current and older models allowing us to quickly deal with your repair. If you have a rare watch and parts are not readily available from the manufacturers we can custom make them especially for you. In any event we will notify you of any special requirements and time of expected completion)

Finding a Reliable Watch Repair Shop near you in London

Trying to get a watch repaired near you in London can often be a minefield, both in terms of variance in quality and price. For many people, their first thoughts are to visit a branch of a well known High Street Jeweller. Unfortunately these London chain Jewellers often don’t have the expertise to perform complex repairs work, they’ll often send your watch to a workshop, making them nothing more than middlemen, driving up the price of any repair.
